I need to vent. On Friday I'm looking at GC's online used gear and spot a newer Warwick Thumb for sale @ $1099.00 Neck thru... nice. I call the Baton Rouge store and ask for the mgr JOE STEINART. I explain that I would like to put the bass on layaway, and all is cool. Except that I have to go to Arlington Heights to put money down and have it transfered over... Ok, I don't see why I can't just give a debit card over the phone but whatever.
I ask that it be put on hold so I can do this. again, JOE @ Baton Rouge says ok. Next Day I call Arlington Hgts and ask if I can do this over the phone or get the bass transfered, the Manager there says he'll see what he can do and Email me back. ... nothing so tonight I call Baton Rouge, you guessed it SOLD on Saturday, Shipped this Morning to NYC
Oh, by the way if layaway wasn't cool said I was going to just out it on a Credit Card.
