I know GC gets a lot of sheet around here! Believe me, I have my share of poor GC stories. But today they actually did me right!
I bought a portable digital recorder from them online Christmas Day. Their price is $249, plus 15% off online orders Christmas Day only. So $212 before tax, free shipping.
Today I saw the same recorder for $199 on SamAsh site. I called them. They price matched plus an additional 10% of the difference. So $195 before tax, free shipping!
Then I saw the same recorder for $175 on B and A Photo\Video site. At first they rejected the price match b\c they stated B and H wasn't an authorized Yamaha dealer. Ok. Fine.
I checked the Yamaha site and sure enough B and H is on their authorized dealer list. I emailed GC the link and sure as sheet they price matched $175 plus 10% of the difference!
So after tax I'm looking at about $180, free shipping!
Guitar Center does me right!
