Guitar Center's - Credit Card

I love the idea of one year same as cash, but really do not want another line of credit. I already have a NAMM card, which gives me the one year deal at two music stores that I know of.

Is there deal a private credit card or do they take the NAMM credit card?

is it interest free for a year on everything? i thought it was only 3 months interest free...

I just use it for the special finance offers, like the Fender deal they had last month. N interest for a year isn't bad, but otherwise it's not that great of a deal as interest and stuff goes.
