Guitar pickup (SD Invader) wiring question

I have a Strat that has a 4-conductor Seymour Duncan Invader pickup in the bridge position. Okay...I admit it's a Tom DeSchlong

Anyway, right now it has a volume and tone, but I'd like to rewire it for some more versitility. My question is, should I wire it with a coil tap, or for series/parallel? Or, is it possible to wire it for both? The SD site only shows either/or...
