Guitar question

Is it possible to convert a Floyd Rose equipped guitar to a schaller fixed bridge? Will there be visible holes in the guitar? Would I need to drill new holes?

It is easier to put blocks of wood to keep the mechanics on the back from moving. And it's a lot cheaper.

It's a lot cheaper to do that way too. I considered filling all the cavities for the floating tream, but for that kind of work, I could have just replaced the body. But I liked the character of the body, so I just blocked it.
