| The best advice (and this is coming from my own guitar thread I posted earlier) is to go to yourt local shop that has them and play all three for awhile. use the same amp, preferably YOUR amp if you have a guitar amp, and they have your amp in stock.
Personally, I avoid signature series guitars because often (especially at the lower price-range) they will only have a few useable tones right around the 'signature sound'. You may find as you get better on guitar that while you still love playing metal, the Dime bag sound isn't exactly what you want.
For what you want, don't be afraid to look at Epi Les Paul's or SG's, Schecters of various types, Ibanez of various types, or other Deans, ESP's and Jackson's. You might find your sound in something that is ouside of those three models you've named.
Incdentally, I've heard great things about the Jackson you noted. I haven't seen any reviews of that Dean or that ESP you noted.
