I sent in my subscription renewal and it came back addressee unknown. I called and a recorded message said they had stopped, and subscribers would get Guitar World instead. Anyone know anything about this? Any comments?

I thought it would actually have a good run since it gives a somewhat more "mainstream" focus than other bass magazines. I wonder what the sales were like compared to Bass Player. |

Guitar magazine, effective immediately(as of April 24), along with Guitar World Acoustic and Guitar One. The next and last issue(July ¹07), has Geddy Lee on the cover.
Coming soon for those who may be interested. http://www.bass-musician-magazine.com/ |

They had better not send me a damned guitar magazine in it's place.

Come on guys... If I don't know it exists, then how on earth can I buy it??? this isn't rocket science...
I shall carry on purchasing Bass Guitar Magazine as I'd hate there to be a day when the only magazine left is Bass Player... |

They were more rock oriented than my own personal tastes, but they did cover a wide number of players and they had decent gear reviews, and good instructional articles. I am sad to see them go.
I will have them just cancel my subscription. I want Guitar World about as much as an asthma attack!

I liked Guitar World's Bass Guitar, i like the UK Bass Guitar more though. I think i had 2-3 issues of that. It struck me as being odd, i'm in the middle of cornfield county Indiana & i saw a magazine with the pounds logo on it.
take it easy.
