Let's just say I got hit in the head with a cinder block and lost my mind and bought those pickups. The first thing I would do is replace the covers. They look to be in rough shape.

vintage PAF pickups are obscenely expensive for some reason...i wouldn't pay more than 100 bucks for a pair...

Are there people out there who've spent £10k (or so) on a guitar with no pickups, which they've left lying about waiting/hoping for the requisite pickups to turn up on eBay?
