Haggling with online dealers

Has anyone done it? For instance, haggling with say, musician's friend or music 123 etc? Are they open to it or no dice? I'm curious cuz I still think online purchasing, tho easy, still leaves a lot to be desired in terms of pricing. Your thoughts, experiences and whatnot?

MF will "price match" if you show them another price from a legitimate dealer, but they still suck. Call Bass Central or Bass NW, get a better price, better service, and a support players instead of a corporation.

Although I've bought stuff from MF, I find that the guys at BassNW, Bass Central, Access Bass, Austin Basstraders, etc., are flexible on price and try hard to give you a good deal.
