Hand/wrist strengthening exercises

Hey all,
I recently took a few weeks off bass (not fully, just not the regular practice routines) to get some work and earn some cash. After working full-time for about a month doing grocery work and only picking up the bass every few days for a noodle, my fretting hand/wrist just seems weaker than it did before, now that I'm back in my regular practice regime.
So what regular exercises are best to get it back and keep it at optimum without strengthening too much to the point of being tense while playing (I still want to have totally relaxed hands)?
