This past weekend I attended a large birthday party outside of New Paltz , NY for Mike Tobias, Stuart Spector and Charlie Kniceley. Charlie is a friend of mine and an absolute beast of a bass player, playing in and around the Woodstock, NY area. He is a long time friend of Mike Tobias and Stuart Spector, and they started sharing Birthday Parties a few years ago.
There were at least 5 different band lineups, half of which had Charlie in, that played from 1:00 pm until after Mid nite in a tent in Stuart's back yard. The music was OUTSTANDING. The players in and around that area are terrific.
Some Pics from my weekend, if you'll indulge:
The Birthday Boys, Stuart Spector, Charlie Kniceley, and Mike Tobias

What a gracious man, and very old friend of Charlie's. I acted like a teenager and asked Charlie's wife to introduce me, and we talked for a few minutes. About the World Cup of course.... DAVE HOLLAND!

It has a built in Piezo bridge, in addition to the 2 barts. Plays nice! Very few of these have been made yet.

Nice!

As long as we're name dropping...
