Happy Holiday Recyling/Shipping tip for Green TB'ers and the World

Hi all,. .. .. hope you all have a great weekend planned, and enjoy it in safety

I was just packing up a guitar to send via Fedex...put it in the box and THEN started thinking about filler ( doH ! )
material ...on the counter sat a couple of empty Crystal Geyser jugs - 1 gallon-....the base of the guitar ( a sweet burgundy Dano DC R.I. that I hated to sell but really had no use for ) in a padded gig bag, stood on a 16x folded packing blanket ( that had seen it's time) ...the gallon jugs perfectly fit along the neck and headstock.... ....so, I went into artsycrafty mode and found a bunch of .5 liter bottles for the bottom front and back...made sure to try and blow them full of air before quickly capping them for more crush resistance...

Annyway, I don't think it will cause the weight to increase that much make it prohibitive in cost difference...I would sure rather recycle some bottles than deal with shreds of paper...or those damn polystyrene ( styrofoam to most) peanuts that never get caught and never die...
