Hardcase/Flightcase interior plush vs foam

Sign in to disble this ad
Well, im looking at new cases over at thomann.de, they have a couple nice ones, one has a plush interior the other one is cheaper and has the spikey foam stuff.

I know plush is a nice caring material for our children, but how does the foam do, im guessing it wont scratch or anything like that right?

I assume the plush interior is cut to a certain body shape, whereas the eggcrate isn't?

I have a ATA 300 flight case I picked up from Ebay for ...$200 that's just foam and it's given me no problems at all as far as rubbing or scratching goes

I just throw mine in a cardboard box with those packing peanuts in it. Used to use real peanuts, but they tend to go rancid after a while.
