Hardcases that hold two basses or guitars

Do these exist? I am trying to find some with little success. I am finding bags that hold two instruments, but not hard cases.

Thanks!

haha alright maybe that was a little mean but yes I know guitar ones are around. I am sure there are bass ones two.
I would imagine they would be pretty heavy

And if you would have noticed, when you Google it no double hard shells come up.

I've never seen one and I think it would be way too heavy.

OP, is there a reason you don't want a double gig bag?

Like Burlington said, didn't find anything under a bunch of searches.

I primarily want them for storage when I am gone for a few months at a time so they are just not sitting around. I was hoping they would take up less room then individual cases.

I found one by Gator:

Kind of expensive for what reviews say about it, not to mention it is kind of big. I was hoping to find some that had one guitar/bass going from left to right, and the other from right to left.

Anyone else have other ideas?

Hi.

No pre-made case will do what You want. A custom made would probably be quite expensive and only offer 20% max volume reduction.

You may find a suitable ATA case intended for a mixer or light controller and have the foam custom cut for it.

I've seen one, and I can confirm that it was indeed way too heavy!

Custom Anvil ATA case built like a dual-sided book: Basses fit in the center, back-to-back, with lids & latches on opposite sides. Stupidly big, bulky, & unweildy...but it was for a band that had roadies, so...

I think Burlington was referring to the google search on TB. That case has horrible reviews and is excessively large & heavy. Looks like separate cases is the better route to go

I've been a working bassist and a stagehand for around thirty years...used some cases myself and seen a ton of what touring guys use and I don't ever recall seeing a two bass hard case...who'd wanna lift it? You won't want to nor will any crew. FACT: hard to handle cases sometimes get treated roughly by less pro crew. What you do commonly see are roller trunks (coffins) with several hard cases inside.
