Hardshell case for a 6-string bass

I am sorry but didn't find a proper sub-forum to fit this topic.

Very quick one: I am looking for a hardshell case for my yamaha TRB-1006. The bass is quite big compared to a 4-string obviously. I don't think common/universal bass could hold it well.

Any comment from any 6-string bass owner?

Thanks!

All my cases, hard and soft, hold my Corvette 6 just as well as my Corvette 4. Haven't run into ANY issues. You can always bring your bass into a GC or something to try them out. I've done that in the past, and there haven't been any problems.

make some nice light, foam based stuff covered in ballistic nylon - light and strong, much stronger, lighter, and more convenient than a traditional Fender-style hard case.

I ended up going with the Yamaha GB-26 bass case made for the TRB.

I bought a flight case from Rondo for 90 bucks. Best money you could spend on real protection. But if I'm not flying, it goes in a Mono bag or Levy's leather bag.
