Hardshell case for jazz bass?

Sign in to disble this ad
Need to buy a hard case for my jazz, and am trying to decide between SKB, Gator, or one of the Fender cases, like that really cool looking tweed case. Can anyone offer any info ? Looking for good protection, light weight, good fit and finish.

I don't think you can go wrong with a SKB case. I've owned the tweed Fender case, and it struck me as not being as heavy duty as the SKB case I currently use.

Assuming your J is a righty model, you'll need the SKB 44 case.

+1 on the SKB. The only thing with it, atleast the one I had, is that it has a weird chemical smell to it that transfers to the bass.
