Hardware for red-sunburst...gold, silver or other?

Sign in to disble this ad
I was wondering whether a silver or a gold hardware looks better on a red-sunburst J-bass, with pearloid pickup, cause my brother is getting a new one.

I´d prefer gold....you?

Matt black, let the red sunburst be the most prominent colour

Chrome/Nickel ALWAYS. A classic look. Never black, almost never gold for me anyway. Gotta add the old IMHO too I guess!

Not into silver or gold hardware.....prefer black myself.

Black hardware goes with everything.

"no-go" on the 'gold' idea.. Nver had any luck with gold on any of my instruments.
More trouble than its worth. I hope you decide on something pretty AND practical!

Be a man. Gold. Any other color is homophobic.

The only instrument I can recall in which I liked gold hardware is an all-white Ibanez RG guitar. Black? In a black "stealth" bass, for sure. Aside from that, chrome hardware for me.

+1 yet again.

Honestly, I wasn't a fan of gold hardware either until I found my black cherry Legend.

The gold is unbelieveable with the deep reds.

(and besides, who doesn't want bling value? )
