Read this earlier today. He seems like a pretty cool guy. Good on him for doing it his way and always putting out quality products.

I know several people with Peavey PA amps that are older than me and have survived tumbles off of tailgates and loading bays and are still chugging along fine. That speaks volumes to me.

I used one of his early PA mixers way back, big clunky knobs, ugly as sin, but it worked great, never had a problem with it. Nice and simple to use, unlike todays monsters.
Also had 2 amps, a TKO 65 and a Megabass with a 1516 cab. I had to do a field repair on the TKO once, and never had a major problem with the Megabass at all. One 8" speaker went bad, possibly corroded connection, but not the 15" BW.
I would love to get a PV rig again.

I still have an old 115 combo that is 30 years old and also I still use an old 1810 cab for Moog Taurus pedals.

Very interesting. I absolutely love my Peavey cab, and I'm looking for it's companion Mark IV as we speak.

I have a MKIV stack, Fury V bass, T25 and 1st gen Predator guitars and some PA speakers. I will continue to buy old Peavey gear. I am not happy with the current direction the company is taking with all the cheap imports. My Fury V is MIK, all the rest is MIA. These new Milleniums, Voids and Tragics are abominations. Hartley needs to go back to his roots and re-evalute the direction he is taking. Super hero inspired guitars?
