Has anyone else recieved this letter from GC

Just thought I'd throw this out there. Monday, I recieved a letter from the CEO of GC, allegedly. Stating that he appreciates all the business I've done there in the past and to show my appreciation he's giving me an additional 10% off any purchase with that letter. I guess he's wondering why I haven't spent much money there lately. So I wrote him back, we'll see if he cares to respond. If he does, I'll let you all know what he has to say.

Yes I did, threw it in the trash. Long story why I don't shop there anymore, its in one of the GC bashing threads.

Try calling and getting through to him then you will know how much he cares.

It sounds like a typical "valued customer" letter that lots of companies mail out. I still get them from Best Buy and I haven't bought anything there for 2-3 years.

I'd throw that letter away too as junkmail.

I expect getting 10-20 % off everything anytime from any music store. The only exceptions from that rule are products already on sale and Thomann in general (Europe's largest music store, located in Germany).
