Here's a funny story...

so, on my recent trip back home to Ohio, I went into a small shoppe known as "Bob's Music." I was browsing the basses, and noticed he had about 8 German Warwicks, and 4 Chinese RockBass Warwicks. I was just looking them over, be-essing with him. (He had about all of my favorites.) Soon, a customer had shown up, just pokin' n proddin' looking around like I was. He walked up close me, and started looking at the Warwicks too. He looked over to, what I think is the owner, or head manager guy. "What type of wood is that? Wing?" (Pronounced it "Wing" intead of "We-in-gay.) The store clerk, shrugged and responded, "To be honest, I have no idea. Ask that guy, he'd know more than I would." He pointed to me!!! lmao. So, I gave it my best shot of informing the guy, and trying to make a sale, in hopes it'd score me a helluva deal, lol.

Now, I know the guy is an idiot, he ordered about 10 $1k+ basses in a town where people would struggle to afford a bass at half of that price. Not to mention, he's got a ThumbNT4. Which goes for around what? $3k new? Dumbass.

heh.

I'll use this oppertunity to tell this story. I was at a local shop called "World of Music." One of the clerks is asked by an older gentleman in the bass section, "How can I sound like Black Sabbath?" Being a huge Geezer fan, my ears perked up. He hands the guy some no name (I think) Hollowbody bass and plugs him into a Rat distortion. He sounded nothing like Geezer, but he was stoked, so I didn't say anything.

No good stories, but the guys see me in the bass department and turn customers my way.
