Headphones I Use.

Probably not the BEST...but they aren't really expensive. They sound pretty good as well.

And they look pretty sexy, weigh next to nothing, and have plenty of cord.

I have these 10 year old Sonys that I've used for recording that I absolutely love!

my personal fav. is the sennheiser HD280 pro. They're right at $100.

Beyerdynamic DT-770. Without a doubt, no contest, end of story, close the door on your way out, bass king of cans.

Do you want to spend that much, and is it comfortable for you, are different questions.

I've had a pair of these cans for 3 years and they're solid performers. I'd recommend them, especially in noisy situations where their closed design is particularly helpful.

I use these with my portable headphone amp. They are small, inexpensive and don't need too much power..
I have some fancy headphones for recording purposes, but I prefer these for casual practicing because of the added low end.
