headphones for the EBG

I can't play at the volumes I enjoy as much as I used to, and I'm going to be staying in a hotel for a few days, so before this all goes down, I wanted to find a gratifying solution.. HEADPHONES..

anyways.. what kind are good for the bass guitar? are there any that I can simply plug into the bass and have personal amplification for active\passive basses, low maintenance and all.

What do you guys use? Or better yet, what's recommended?
My budget isn't extravagant, I can probably drop 100-200 (and prefer to save money if a solid set of headphones are $75, you've made my day)

thanks in advance.

I have skullcandy earbuds that were 9 bucks in FYE, TONS of low end and fairly comfortable. I also have sony 7506 that are $100 and very comfortable. Do you have a headphone amp? That little vox one looks cool and is $50. I have a micro BR which is a great practice tool.

The headphones topic has been discussed here: Opinions on Good Headphones?

You will need a headphone amp anyway, even with an active bass. The normal ones will do it, but of course you can also go for a dedicated bass one like this: http://www.voxamps.com/amplug/ This is the only one of this kind I know. Kinda stylish, but pricey, too.
