Question Heard of "Hard Luck Kings" tonight...any thoughts on them?

Hard Luck Kings is a brand of guitar that sells budget knock-offs of Strats, Teles, and Les Pauls (no basses, best I could tell, at least not yet). They sell at about the $400 range, and are really gearing for an edgier, bad boy, perhaps even slightly sardonic persona. I could live without the persona, but if their gear is quality for the price, might make for good forays into the strat and the tele to compliment my Gibson Les Paul. Of course, the website seemed to not be too eager to mention country of production (bad sign), but anybody hear have the first hand scoop on these guys? I'd be eager to hear.

Thanks!
