I'm big on many of the obvious guys, Death, Carcass, Cannibal Corpse. Necrophagist is a good band as well. I'm currently wearing a Dying Fetus t-shirt, so they must be pretty good too . |

Necrophagist is my favorite band and I'm wearing a Carcass shirt (Necroticism album cover).
List:
Necrophagist
Napalm Death
Toxic Holocust
Cannibal Corpse (of course)
Death
Cynic
Behemoth
Gojira
Morbid Angel
Repulsion
Ghoul
Dimmu Borgir
Arsis
Cattle Decapitation
Children of Bodom
Keep of Kallesin
Beneath the Massacre
Cryptopsy
Decapitated
The Faceless
Impaled
I've seen/met most of these bands. |

| | is, against all odds, still a scuba viking. | | Join Date: Feb 2007 Location: Alta Loma, California | | | My favorite Death Metal Bands:
-Aeon [hyper-intense brutal death from Sweden, these guys are insanely ferocious]
-Necrophagist [technical death metal, friggin' awesome guitar work]
-The Faceless [basically technical death metal, but they throw in some prog influences as well]
-Decapitated [You've probably heard of them before]
those are my big four. If you've never heard of em, CHECK EM OUT! They are fantastic, and IMO represent the apex of what Death Metal has to offer.
