i live in India and gear is very expensive here. a friend XYZ was returning back to my town from California so i asked my cousin ABC living in US to buy a mxr bass DI+ and ship to my friend XYZ.
(i recommended my cousin to choose MF from the list when placing the order @ amazon)
the order was placed on 21st MAY and was to be shipped on 22nd/23rd may and was to reach the destination in 5-8 business days.
his flight to New Delhi, India is on 13th june and yesterday XYZ told me he hasn't got the pedal yet. i asked my cousin ABC to mail amazon.com guys to find out whatsup with the order? and they f****n' reply back saying the order would reach its destination by25th june





since i asked my cousin to buy/order it and stuff i do not have any tracking or order no.s and cant communicate with amazon.com or Musiciansfriend.com chaps. this (to me) means either the pedal would be lost or would reach my after some two years

. how can they do this?? 5-8 business days means a more than a MONTH???
is it possible to cancel the order or change the shipping address to somewhere else with in USA ?? what should i do otherwise?
can you tell me who is to blaim here amazon or MF?
cant i sue them or something??

am sorry for the rant but i am very distressed because i really really needed a preamp and a DI box, all replies are welcome
