I voted for Lush. But Rockwork Lemon is so kickass. I wish I could change my vote!

I voted for Rock Stock and Barrel. If you dont end up using it I might suggest it to my band as we are gonna be changing the name anyway soon.

You guys are kidding, right? You know Lush is already a band? "Ladykillers"?

I think cover band names should be somewhat humorous. Erocktion seems to be the best option, then, but it's still not that funny.

As mentioned above, Lush is already a fairly well-known band, so nix that one.

I personally am not too enamored with any of the names you listed. I asked my 9 year-old, and he suggested "The Shuttlecocks" if that's any help.

I always thought "The Natural Disasters" would be a good name for a bunch of old guys (like me).

How about "David's sling"

its slightly Biblical, but it held the rock that felled Goliath.

if you're going to be a bit tongue in cheek then hooves of satan is a great name... iron maiden galloping triplets...

Yeah, Lush (the old shoegazing band from london) is an established name.

if you call yourselves decades some people may expect a joy division tribute band.

Lush, lush puppies, Rock Stock and Barrel, and I'm sure some of the others are currently in active use. Try doing a quick google search on your list first, and then do your poll again.

Ok Lush packed up in 96 so does it matter, I could change the spelling to "Lush Puppy's" and the r/s/b are from Aus look like the good old boys!
We are only going to be a local cover band doing it now and again so does it matter do you think?
