HELP! my finger

Hi
I am seeming to have a pain in the middle of the joint of my index finger. It hurts when I contract it. Has anyone else had this? I tryed not playing for a day or two and also playing less, but it doen't seem to be getting better. It may be nothing, but I allways tend to worrie about my fingers.

I have that happen from time to time, if I have a gig coming up, I'll usually soak it in a bowl of really hot water (hot as you can stand it) with a cup or two of epsom salts dissolved in it. It helps, but if it continues, I'd see a doctor. They can do wonders these days, with the advent of microsurgical techniques.
