Help Please - Posting Pictures or Images.

Can anyone help to insert pictures or images.

When I create a new thread and access the browse to my local pc, the files are to big. TB requires a limit of 150kb or less and mine are like twice that amount. How do I reduce them to be accepted.

When I'm replying to a private email I get a dialoge box asking me to instert to the http:// I've tried the help on TB but don't understand what is required to do. I further don't know how to link the url either.

Thanks if you can help, I'm digitally dumb.

In order to link to an image, it has to be on the internet. You should check with your ISP (the people you pay to connect you to the internet) and ask them if they give you webspace with your account. If so, you'll need directions on how to upload images to your account. Once your images have been uploaded, you can display them in your posts by using the insert image ("") button when you compose your replies.

It's free, you don't need to register and your pic can be up to 1024kb.
They even provide you with a link that you can cut and paste straight into TB so the thread will automatically display the picture.
