help on verses?

Sign in to disble this ad
whenever im trying to write a song, i can only think of catchy chorus's, i only have a couple complete songs, and the rest of my stuff is just catchy chorus's, so how should i go about writing the verses, my normal aproach would just be to wait until something spectacular hits me, so should i just wait for the rest of this stuff?

Well, one thing I like to do while writing lyrics , is to tell a story. Use someting from the chorus to inspire a story , and make it the verse lyrics. Theres a whole lot you can do with just stuff from the chorus, use things relating to and such. You really just gotta use your imagination.
