What was the mtv video that had Hulk Hogan in it? Showing my age here...but does anybody remember what video/artist it was that featured Hulk Hogan walking down the Hollywood stip or Venice Beach area with a boom box??... some friends and I were having a discussion on none of us can remember....going crazy trying to figure it out. I think it was a Dire Straits video but can't find it...

I believe that was Steve Strong. He was in a Mike Nesmith/Pacific Arts presentation called "Elephant Parts" It was a comedy sketch with music video from 1981,won the first music video Grammy it did! If I recall the bit was called "Lucy and Ramona with their friend Sunset Sam" Where do I keep all this priceless info?.....

Mike Nesmith? He was The Angry Monkee! He did a vhs tape called Elepahnt Parts. Idon't think it really was intended to be for MTV, (maybe it was) But he did like 5 sketches based on music, I really dug the Mariachi Band one, they did "Guantanamera" badly, in full costume. I saw it first on "Nite Flight" USA network's late night music and art program. Way better than MTV.Man it's been a long time....
