Mostly ukelele and drums, although the bass player comes in about halfway through. Anyone cover this tune?

We have been talking about doing this song if we can hit the vocals. I can sing really high, but this song is way up there. It sure is catchy and everywhere.

It actually came out in October 2009 but went on to become a mega hit selling almost 5 million copies just in the U.S. alone and the overall best selling song in the U.S. in 2010. I wonder what the worldwide sale totals are.

It is high vocals. My wife was working at learning the ukulele part this morning -- we're thinking of asking the band to learn it and letting her have a guest moment on stage. Don't know if we can sing it though.

Yes..
Works very well.

If you have the right personalities.. fits well with Jason Mraz..

Chicks love it --- if you can laugh at yourself it's a fun tune to play.

whats the US population? is anyone else a little disappointed that the top selling single of 2010 only sold 5 million copies, in such a hugely populated country... I dunno

I do love the song though, been trying to give myself a reason to buy a uke, not got enough of a repertoire to warrant using it yet though. It's gonna be stuck in my head all evening now, very good song!

Actually, that makes me VERY happy. I really dislike most pop radio and I honestly believe most people listen to it and like it because they are told to like it by the radio stations (I mean, why else would they play it unless it was good? ).

I was told to listen to this by a girl I know. I got super excited, 'cus I thought sh'ed discovered The Cult, only to finsit's "Hey" Souls Siter, not the superb "Sweet" Soul Sister.

Oh well...
