There's actually a pretty good Rap/Violin duo (as in they both rap and play violin) I saw on TV once called Nuttin' But Strings. They studied at Julliard.

a bunch of session players I know here in the city have been called to play on hip hop sessions, usually late at night, no music, and they realize they are just being sampled "Here do this: baa-baa"

I found that completely entertaining. She's both clever and talented. We need more videos like that on Youtube.

I don't like the song but the girl is good on that thing. They are SUPER hard to play, I've tried my daughters.
