Hipshot Bridge Users! Help!

Does anyone know an approximate weight level of an Aluminum 4 string Hipshot A series bridge? What about the weight of a Brass bridge of the same size?

I'm trying to sell my Hipshot A series bridge, and a possible sale is in the works depending on the material of my bridge.

By my guess, the bridge I'm trying to sell is about half of a pound, or 8 oz. Does this sound right for an aluminum bridge?

Also, it's definitely heavier than my BAII. Aren't BA bridges made out of brass?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Scrape the coating off the inside of one of the screw holes. If the metal looks silver, it's aluminum, if it looks like brass, it's brass

I didn't think about that...... Maybe I'll do it on the bottom, that way no one can complain about cosmetic issues.

Or will scraping off a bit of the chrome affect the tone?

I guess "aesthetic" would have been a better term....
