My birthday was yesterday so I have a fair amount of money under my belt now. I have an Epiphone T-bird that I ADORE in all regards (including the weight, I feel really cool when other bassists tell me that they are completely incapable of playing it) except for the 3-point bridge, a noisy and hard-to-adjust piece of crap. Should I spring $120 for the Hipshot bridge replacement, and is it particularly hard to install?
