Holidays and bass purchases

How do holidays and a bass purchase(s) affect you? Do You:

1: Wait till after the new year?
2: Try to sell yours?
3: Get anxiety about buying one that may not be there after the holidays?

and my favorite

4: Buy the damn thing anyway and worry about it later.

I just did a trade here so I already have a "new" (to me, anyway) bass. No more basses for me for Christmas.

But on the bright side, that means I can ask for OTHER expensive toys for Christmas!

I'm normally #4.

Over the next two months I'm probably gonna get another bass but not too fussed about it because coming up to christmas and my birthday so a treat to myself and will take anything for what I'm looking for.

It'll just be a cheap bass cause I'm wanting to try out a left handed bass...I'm a lefty who has always played righty so want to give it a crack the other way.
