horrible pain.

I was playing the bass the other day, and I heard/felt a very loud pop in my wrist. My ring finger spazzed out and was full of nerve pain. Afterwards the pain stayed and slowly went away.

It has happened 2 more times.

What the is happening to me?! I can't imagine this is normal, so what would you guys/girls reccomend doing?

The specific song it keeps happening on is:

Simpe but cool sounding. Most of the time it happens on the:
4-2-4-2

Have you ever had aching wrist pain before? I think knowing your wrist/hand medical history is a lot more important than knowing what song or riff you were playing when it happened.

Well, no wrist pain before. I just started bass about 4-5 months ago. The only other pain I have ever had while playing bass is in the thumb thats ont he fret board, apparently I use it like a vice.

P.S. a lesser popping/pain happens during other songs, but for some reason that REALLY sets it off. and the song was so people could try and see if they had any similar difficulties.
