I bought the complete DVD series cuz I'm HUGE Partridge Family fan, and was cracking up watching a bunch of episodes yesterday. Keith is on time. What's up with everyone else? I especially like the kid in the blue sweater. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SMzHLorbWZc
Feel free to turn this into a Partridge Family appreciation thread. I know it's going to get hundreds of responses. |

alls I know is that we used to do a cover of "I Think I Love You" and it would be an absolute hit every time.

This is supposed to be most of a century in the future. One of the 'old' shows themes 'sounded' familiar to me...

Admit it. You hear it too.

A mistake in booking had them holding a block party; Keith tells Pryor that he has a tune with an Afro-thing goin' on.
Again, LMAO!
EDIT-
The episode is called "Soul Club" with Lou Gossett, Jr. & Richard Pryor. The tune is called "Bandala".
FWIW-
The Partridge Family was based loosely on the Cowsills.

But heck, I wasn’t glued to the TV set for there acting or Music talent, I will fess up, I also found Susan Dey to be a Hot babe way back when, but I found her to be even more appealing in L.A. Law as Grace Van Owen
She as aged very well

Before Tracy Partridge the tambourine was just a background instrument. Her virtuosity brought the tambourine to the forefront and changed the worlds perception of the instrument forever.
Tracy Partridge was a true pioneer!
A rare photo of one of the legendary tambourine solo's:

Serioiusly- Stu once commented that a chubby red-head guy who was cool made a big role model for another chubby red-headed guy in Central Illinois. That's partly why Hamm started playing bass. Besides, (in Stu's words) Danny could play all those cool Joe Osborne lines without moving his fingers! As much as he's practiced, Stu still has to move his fingers
