How do I clean my ear plugs?

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey folks!

I have a pair of musicians earplugs (highly recomended). For those of you who also use these; what is a good way to clean them? I am afraid to expose the rubber to un safe chemicals or damage them in any way. I am getting over an ear infection and would like to clean them before stick them in my ears again.

Thanks alot.

I do as I was told by the audiologist and clean mine with a damp cloth and a little bit of mild soap. Don't get the attenuators wet coz it's affect their performance.

Yeah, I pulled the filters and just used some anti-bacterial soap on the rubber. Seemed to work. Thanks.
