how do i learn drum patterns?

Sign in to disble this ad
So my dilemma lately is I really want to start branching out in my electronic solo project with the type of drum rhythms i've been doing for a long time. On the truthful side of things I don't really know much past polka/blast/punk beats that really aren't complex. But everytime I hear a metal track with some really kicking lines I wanna scream cuz I hear all this stuff and I really don't know the source of where to find it. Anyone know where I can find some drum patterns? doesn't have to be in midi.

this is a decent example of what I'm looking to get better at.

I was looking for something more than rudiments of actually playing drums like if there are drum tabs around. Thx tho.
