How do you haul it? Dolly's, hand trucks n' carts

I'm hauling 2 Mesa Scout cabs now instead of 1. What have you found to be the best way to move your gear from vehicle to stage and back? I want to know what's out there, the pros and cons, and where you got it. Lightweight and collapsable are my focus.

Thanks!

I got rid of my heavy stuff. I use a folding hand truck & if I'm playing electric only, I can bring in all my gear in one trip. If I'm doubling on electric & upright it's two.

This is what I use.

Check out the second pic to see how the wheels are collapsible and the handle folds down into itself. Highly recommended.

For a couple of reasonably small cabs like that, the Kart-a-bag Super 600 is the ultimate. Not cheap, but super high quality, folds up to almost nothing, and has nice bunjee cords built in, and nice 'stair climber' rails so that you can easily go over curbs and drag your rig up a few stairs without unloading.

By FAR the best small hand truck type cart on the market.

Been using them for years.... top of the heap.

Built in casters on my cab. I lift and carry the head and basses.

I use something like this, works well even for a couple of blocks when necessary.

Good ol' fashioned brute strength. Ha. The 810 has the tiltback thing going on, but it sucks carrying my SVT. Sometimes we double team it and that makes it better.

I carry the bass and amp bag in one trip and my Genz Benz Neo 2x12 or TC Electronics 2x10 on the second trip. I have been thinking about mounting the Walkabout on top of the 2x10 and using a hand truck...some pretty good suggestions so far.

I use something very similar. I can fit my bass amp, guitar amp, guitar stand, mic stand, pedal board, squirrel cage fan, bass, guitar, accessory box, and stage clothes on it in one trip. I should take a pic of my moving pile.

edit: my backup bass is in a gig bag so I backpack it in while I push my buggy.

With my 810 I have someone help me load/unload from my vehicle, and then use the tilt back wheels and towel bar to move it. I just pick up my 115.

As for my head, it's only about 25 pounds so I lift that too.
