What do you mean by "how do you take it out"?

If you mean how does it come off, they should just pull off. There is no screw holding them down.

Small trick to taking those kinds of knobs off. Wrap a flathead screwdriver in a guitar cloth, slip it under there and pop it off. I learned this after marring the finishes on a few guitars and basses. Its not as easy as the stew mac solution but its alot cheaper.

What I do is take a thin cloth or thick string and slip it under the lip. Then just pull up.

easiest way (for me) is two small flat head screwdrivers under the knob...

kind of like you're picking up a meatball with chopsticks with the flat head tips against the body (protected by some cloth)

...and work one side then the other.
