How does a copper pick sound on a fretless?

Anyone know? Maybe i shud ask how metalpicks in general sounds on a fretless compared to a plastic tortex pick? The Dunlop tortex feels too soft and woody (cud be cos board aitn coated tho)

Look up a fellow by the name of Steve Swallow. Find some recordings that he's played on.

Unfortunately, no. I am aware of him, but I haven't had the opportunity to listen to his music. If you go to the "Bassists" forum, there is a thread entitled "Steve Swallow's Basses." There's a lot of references to particular songs, etc. and discussion of his playing with a copper pick.

I Checked Dunlops site and it says it gets a more metallic/percussive sound, so it might be what im looking for since when playing the fatter strings with my tortex it sounds woody=/
