Me too. I traveled about 3000 miles for 1991 New Years Eve show with the Dead at Oakland Coliseum.

You guys should own up to the shows you drove so far for... even if it was Hall and Oates.

I think the better question would have been, "Who has camped out for tickets before?".

I drove (Rode, technically, but same idea) 5 hours one way from my home in Bowling Green, KY to Deer Creek, IN to the VerisonWireless Center to see Phish on their last tour.

We went from Detroit to Cleveland to see Megadeth...back in '86. I got an autographed picture from Dave Mustaine after the show and met both Mustaine & Ellefson.

We chatted for quite a while and smoked stuff. It was way cool.

Drove from a campground in mid-michigan to Blossom Ampitheater in Ohio to see Radiohead. More than a six hour drive. I didn't know I was going til a half hour before I had to leave.

Did you actually make it in for both nights of shows? I was geared to go (was only gonna make it for the 2nd night anyway) when we found out about people being turned away and not allowed in, so we gave our tickets to some friends who thought they might be able to make it in (they didn't).

Actually it seems so long ago, I find it hard to believe sometimes.

I saw the Dead in:
Seattle Stadium - Seattle, WA
Autzen Stadium - Eugene, OR
Portland Meadows - Portland, OR
Shoreline Ampitheatre - Mountainview, CA (best venue)
Cal Expo Center - Sacramento, CA
UNLV Silver Bowl - Las Vegas, NV
Blockbuster Sky Ampitheatre - Phoenix, AZ
McNichols Arena - Denver, CO
Rosemont Horizon - Rosemont, IL
World Music Theatre - Tinley Park, IL
Soldier Field - Chicago, IL
Deer Creek Ampitheatre - Noblesville, IN (best town for a Dead show!)
Buckeye Lake - Buckeye, OH
The Palace - Auburn Hills, MI
Convention Center - Cleveland, OH
RFK Stadium - Washington, DC

If there's others, I don't remember them. I had a hard enough time remembering as is.
