About 18 months ago I bought a used bass cab.
I guess it lived it's previous life in a smoke filled iso room, cause it stinks; bad. I don't like being in the same room with it. I don't like having it in the house....it reeks!
I've replaced the internal insulation, and "Febrezed" the rhino liner exterior multiple times; all to no avail.
Help!!!!

You should be able to go at it(carefully) with some sort of household cleaner and a moist rag, maybe some antibacterial kitchen or bathroom type stuff? You could always try it on the bottom of the cab first to make sure the surface isn't effected. |

It's sold in a spray bottle, and I even used it on cat pee, which it removed. It'll possibly take two treatments, and your cab will smell funny for a bit, but it even works on mold and mildew, killing it on contact. Give it a try, it's not all that expensive, I have a gallon bottle of it at home (we have lots of mildew and mold problems in the South!). |

I was gonna try "Clorox Cleanup" next.
The Febreze just made it small like "pretty smoke"...

I suppose if it will neutralize skunk odor it could potentially do the same for your smoke smell...
"A biologist from the West Virginia Department of Agriculture tested the following mixture by dousing a road-kill skunk. The 'fragrant' animal became completely deodorized.
• 1 quart of 3% hydrogen peroxide formula (from a pharmacy)
• 1/4 cup baking soda
• 1 tsp. liquid soap

Help!!!! | I have the same problem with this used tube head I just bought. The second the cooling fan kicks on - this cloud of animal funk comes out the rear grill. It smells like dog and cat filth. Ugh!
(The amp sounds GREAT, however.)
