How Great Thou Art

Been exploring Country Music a bit lately.
I thought Carrie Underwood was a good singer, only to find out...no, she's really good! Vince Gill is in this too, but Underwood owns it.

This Hymn was one I first heard saying goodbye to friend who lost their battle with cancer. I thought it was an awesome song then, Carrie Underwood delivers it so beautifully here.

Funny thing was, I found this posted at one of the political blogs I read.

Yeah, she can sing. Vince is a truly great guitarist, as well. Thanks for the link.

The minute I saw/heard Carrie perform 'Alone' by Heart on American Idol back in '05, I knew if she didn't win that the whole thing was rigged. She KILLED that performance that night and I was a fan from day one. She and Kelly Clarkson have done very well, and are two of the best (if not THE best) singers the show has discovered/produced. Carrie is indeed amazing... and to have Vince Gill with her on that tune is even more amazing!
