it all depends on the amount of talent you have.
for me, it's about a three.
took me a little while to learn it and get it down, but it's not hard to play from memory.

Seriously, there's at least a third of those notes that simply do not need to be in the line. Very impressive if you can really hang with it accurately though. And by accuracy I mean the controlled, almost chaotic, sloppy-but-awesome way Geddy does it. The fills are fun though. |

It's actually easier on bass than it is on Guitar Hero and I 5 starred it on GH.
So, I'd give it about a 3-4... it's the meter that throws me off a bit.

with you asking us, you'll either get the preconceived notion that it's really hard or really easy - both of which would hurt you.

I've only been playing for about 2 1/2 years and I figured out most of the beginning by ear... though not correctly. If I actually spent some real time trying to get it down it probably wouldn't be too difficult.

Seriously, your asking individual players for a rating on the difficulty on a specific song. You're going to get nothing but personal opinion.

I'd agree with Rocketpriest, it probably averages out to a 4 or 4.5.
