there's no accurate answer.
it all depends on the amount of talent you have.

for me, it's about a three.
took me a little while to learn it and get it down, but it's not hard to play from memory.

I'd give it a 4, but I suck at wanky type stuff.

It's pretty easy to just kind of learn the riffs and run through it. It's making sure you're getting absolutely every note and rhythm right that's tough.

About a 2, I have heard some pretty mediocre players pull it off.

The song structure is a 1, nailing the parts well enough to get the real feel across is a 2, and getting it perfect note-for-note is a 4 because Geddy just won't shut up. Seriously, there's at least a third of those notes that simply do not need to be in the line. Very impressive if you can really hang with it accurately though. And by accuracy I mean the controlled, almost chaotic, sloppy-but-awesome way Geddy does it. The fills are fun though.

For me I'd give it a 5. I suck at playing fast stuff like this, I can to one note fast, but not when it's all over the place.

For me it's a 6 because I haven't dedicated enough time into trying to play it.

7.

It's actually easier on bass than it is on Guitar Hero and I 5 starred it on GH.

So, I'd give it about a 3-4... it's the meter that throws me off a bit.

instead of asking how hard it is, just sit down for a few hours and work it out.
with you asking us, you'll either get the preconceived notion that it's really hard or really easy - both of which would hurt you.

Eh, I'd give it a four. I've only been playing for about 2 1/2 years and I figured out most of the beginning by ear... though not correctly. If I actually spent some real time trying to get it down it probably wouldn't be too difficult.

It's hard. Does that help.

Seriously, your asking individual players for a rating on the difficulty on a specific song. You're going to get nothing but personal opinion.

90% of the song is a 2. But that other 10%...good luck.

I'd agree with Rocketpriest, it probably averages out to a 4 or 4.5.

Oddly enough, the fast in-between licks were easier for me to learn than the main riff... Maybe because they are in higher positions?...
