How I started playing bass [story]

I'm 19 and in college. me and my buddies (guitarists) were eating breakfast and talking about instruments. I don't remember but somehow we got to the bass ( I
never saw one before!) and I decided THAT'S the one I want to play! so. . . I went down to samash, checked them out discovered that they have macho fat strings and bought a Hartke starter kit and beginner book for about $250. the bass's action was screwed so I took it back and they gave me a new one

Now its a week later and I'm HOOKED!!

I'm still learning new things everyday, hell, everything is new to me, and I got hooked on Flea.



I just found this site, and I decided to post this, if you have any tips i'll appreciate them greatly!

This is my 1st and last stop in regards to my PC.

Some days its the only thing on the monitor, just too much info here & I really need to work on my groove,so I guess I should logoff know and start playin bass.
