How long did you have to wait?

I've been waiting 7 weeks now for my Peavey Grind 6 string bass.

When I first ordered it, my local music shop said it would be in within the week or two. Some time passed and I called, they told me it was backordered and I had to wait til September. September came and I called, and they told me I had to wait another week or two.

I'm getting a little annoyed by this.

This bass isn't a damn custom, it's a mass-produced bass, why am I waiting so long?

How long did you have to wait for a mas-produced bass?

I just checked musicians friend and they said it is backordered for them until 9/20. So it looks like you'll be waiting a bit longer.
