How long to learn?

More humorous than anything.

So my 11yo daughter started learning classical guitar, and I have been helping her with her homework (mainly avoiding bad habits and ensuring she is doing the homework). As a consequence I've started noodling on her guitar.

How long do you think it will take me to learn Desolate Ways by Morbid Angel?

haha, I got a guitar not too long ago (electric) and I have definitely found the hardest part is picking, especially when not using a pick.

Dude, I play that tune with my toes and a carrot in the dark with my eyes hot-glued shut. You can see it on youtube, it's under the search-"I'm not in an actual band."

Day 1 down and I can play the first measure up to the chord strum, slowly

My daughters guitar needs a setup, it rings badly on the opening note(s)!

Cheers.

this will be interesting to see how long it takes, no pressure or anything though

I always thought it would be cool to do something like this, but for learning 3 finger right hand technique, keeping track of time, bpm and songs n' such.

Rock on fellow Metalist!
