how long to wait for ebay payment?

I just sold (hopefully) my svt on ebay, the auction ended yesterday morning, and still no payment. I'm curious how long I should wait before 1) leaving negative feedback, and 2) giving someone a second chance offer. The guy has really good feedback, something like 99.6 with about 1400 positive transactions, just curious on how long to wait

Ben Franklin said that fish and visitors begin to stink after three days. The same is true for auction communication and payment. It could be that the buyer had an emergency and has not been able to check email for the last twelve hours. Fourteen hundred positive feedback points does not indicate a dead beat. Besides, with the new rules it might not be possible to leave feedback for a buyer. However, buyers can still leave feedback for sellers.
